The Founder’s Favorite Cuts 🌺
When I started Avenue Swim, I wanted bikinis that could move with me and suits I knew would last season after season — from long beach days in San Clemente to sunrise surf sessions here in Kaua‘i. After years of hand-making every piece and now producing small-batch collections, I’ve tested a lot of suits. So today I’m sharing my personal favorite cuts and why I love them.
1. THE ISLA SET
This one will always have my heart. It’s the very first Avenue Swim design that is ethically manufactured out of Bali and still one of our most-loved. The adjustable triangle top + minimal bottoms give that timeless fit while keeping tan lines at a minimum. I wear this set almost daily — it’s simple, flattering, and moves with you whether you’re surfing, swimming, or just lounging.
2. THE SONNY SET
If you’re looking for something with a little more support, the Sunny Set is my go-to. The top is structured but still soft, and the bottoms have just the right coverage for when I want to feel a little more secure. This is the set I grab for long hikes that end at waterfalls (yes, I swim in it after!) or more active days.
THE MIRA SURF SUIT
The Mira Surf Suit is my go-to for just about everything. It’s not just a surf suit — it’s a body suit I can throw on with shorts for coffee runs, morning beach walks, or even a quick hike.
